eBay, the original home of pre loved fashion, needed to reframe it’s perception away from flea market and instead dial up it’s relevance as the place to buy pre-loved authentic luxury bags. To launch the Authenticity Guarantee and connect them authentically to fashion concious communities, we created a campaign supported by PR, onsite and a media event which celebrated the joy of being authentically you.

The “What makes us tick” campaign cast three genuine members of the eBay pre-loved fashion community: people who live for pre-loved luxury bag steals, who collect bags and have used eBay as a way to shop for luxury fashion at affordable prices. These are stories about real people, with a real passion for designer bags.

 
 
 
 
 
 

The result from the campaign was a 10% increase in searches for luxury designer bags… nice. And the party was pretty fun too

 
 
 

Media & Influencer Dinner

A media and influencer dinner was created with a layered, fun approach that highlighted the Authentication Guarantee service and also drove eBays luxury credentials up a few notches.
The ‘eBay Bag Grab’ game brought an engaging, fun and competitive dynamic to the evening, where users could win designer bags by playing on the branded claw machine.
